Hi, I'm Claire Sherck!

I am currently a supervisee in clinical social work. My Social Work journey began in 2019, though my family tells me it started at a much earlier stage of my life. Before 2019, I owned and operated a cafe in Richmond, Virginia. Over the nearly 6 years there, I most enjoyed connecting with the individuals and the community, which led me to pursue my MSW. I studied at Baylor University and interned with organizations in Reno, NV, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Henrico, Va.

Since graduating, I have worked as a clinician on crisis teams alongside first responders, as a program coordinator for a Domestic Violence program, and as a clinician practicing tele-heath outpatient therapy.

On a more personal note, I spend much of my free time with my friends and family, my husband, Aaron, and our dogs (Major, Dewey, Koda, and Gordie), a horse (Junior), and a pony (Betty Lou). I love sunshine, music, the mountains, hiking, and recharging near the water, and pushing myself to experience new things. I am also learning to appreciate the calmness and quiet in the known. It's all part of my journey towards balanced living!

I am so excited for this next adventure with Equi-Librium Wellness, combining my passions and professional experiences to offer clients a balanced space to meet their mental health goals.
